What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website places in your browser when you visit. They help the site remember information about your visit — such as your language setting or the fact that you have already seen the cookie notice.
Cookies are not harmful programs. They cannot access other files on your device or carry viruses. However, they can be used to build a picture of your browsing habits over time, which is why you have the right to control which types are active.
02
Cookie Types We Use
Essential Cookies Always active
These are necessary for the website to function. They manage your session, remember your cookie consent choice, and keep the site secure. They cannot be disabled.
Examples: session ID, cookieConsent preference
Analytics Cookies Optional
Help us understand how visitors navigate the site — which pages are most visited, how long people spend on certain topics, and where they come from. This helps us improve the learning resources.
Examples: page view counters, session duration, referral source
Marketing Cookies Optional
Used to show relevant information to people who have previously visited our site. These do not personalise advertising beyond our own channels.
Examples: ad interaction tracking, retargeting identifiers
Preference Cookies Optional
Remember choices you make — such as which section you last visited or any display preferences — so the site feels familiar on your next visit.
Examples: language, layout preferences
03
Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies are set by third-party services that appear on our site. These may include:
- Google Analytics — page visit measurement and behaviour analysis. Governed by Google's own privacy terms.
- Google Maps — embedded map on our homepage. May set cookies related to map interaction.
- Font providers — Google Fonts may log requests for font files.
We do not control the cookies these services set. You can review their policies directly on each provider's website.
04
Cookie Duration
Cookies fall into two duration categories:
Session Cookies
Deleted automatically when you close your browser. Used for short-term functionality such as keeping you logged in during a single visit.
Persistent Cookies
Remain stored until they expire or you delete them. Typical durations range from 30 days (analytics) to 12 months (preferences and consent records).
05
Your Cookie Preferences
Use the controls below to choose which optional cookie categories you are comfortable with. Your selection is saved to your browser and keeps the site's cookie notice from appearing again.

Required for the website to work. Cannot be turned off.
Analytics

Marketing
Used for relevant ad and content tracking.
